About the role

If so, this internship located in Bethesda, MD is your chance to dive into the fast-paced world of event marketing and promotions—and be on the front lines of bringing a brand to life. We’re looking for an Event Intern to join our brand activation team.
Responsibilities
- Represent our brand at a variety of in-person events, from high-traffic expos to vibrant street festivals.
- Greet attendees with a warm, approachable attitude and spark conversations that leave a lasting impression.
- Share our product or service offerings in a way that’s engaging, clear, and on-brand.
- Support live demonstrations, sampling, or hands-on experiences for attendees.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring displays look polished and inviting (light lifting required).
- Maintain a professional, positive demeanor throughout long, sometimes high-pressure event days.
- Collect and organize attendee leads for follow-up, providing valuable insights back to our marketing team.
- Stay up-to-date on campaign goals, special promotions, and brand messaging through regular team briefings.
Requirements
- Current senior or recent graduate in marketing, communications, business, hospitality, or related field (preferred, not required).
- Previous experience in promotions, customer service, retail sales, or events is a plus but not essential—we'll train you!
- Strong communication skills, a natural ability to connect with people, and the confidence to approach strangers in a friendly way.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs for event setup and teardown.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or travel for events when needed.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to attend in-person events.
