About the role
2020 Companies is hiring seasonal Event Field Leads to bring the brand experience to life while leading all on-site operations. As the primary owner of each event, you'll ensure every activation is executed safely and in compliance with brand standards, while creating an engaging and memorable experience for adult consumers.
The Field Lead will oversee event setup and teardown, manage Brand Ambassadors and event support staff, coordinate with venue and retail partners, and serve as the go-to resource for all on-site operations. Responsibilities
The Event Field Lead will be responsible for:
- Leading all on-site activation activities, ensuring flawless execution of The Porch touring footprint
- Directing local labor teams during load-in, setup, operation, and teardown of the Gorilla Cube XL activation environment
- Ensuring all activation assets are assembled correctly, safely, and according to brand standards
- Leading, motivating, and coaching Brand Ambassadors and event hosts throughout each activation
- Serving as the primary on-site liaison between the program, venue personnel, and retail partners
- Ensuring strict adherence to all age-verification, identification, and regulatory requirements
- Managing dual-device age-gating processes in applicable regulated markets
- Overseeing coupon distribution, prepaid card controls, reconciliation processes, and compliance documentation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 3+ years of experience leading touring, experiential, mobile marketing, or multi-market activation programs
- Experience managing Brand Ambassadors, event staff, and local labor crews in live event environments
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience serving as the primary point of contact for clients, venues, or external partners
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
- Experience handling compliance procedures, promotional controls, inventory accountability, and event reporting
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including weekends and extended event schedules
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience within regulated industries such as tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, or similar categories
- Mobile marketing, trailer activation, or touring event experience
- Familiarity with age-verification technology and compliance systems
- Experience utilizing field reporting, CRM, or event management platforms
Physical Requirements
The Event Field Lead will need to be able to:
- Lift and move activation materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods during activation events
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Travel frequently and work evenings, weekends, and event-based schedules
Benefits
The Event Field Lead will receive:
- $1,000 per week (paid weekly)
- Company-paid hotel accommodations provided for applicable event assignments
- Mileage reimbursement and daily meal allowance
Schedule
The Event Field Lead will work:
- Tuesday–Saturday or Wednesday–Sunday, based on event needs
- Weekend availability is required
