Writing$105k–$138k/yrFull-time

Noom is a consumer-led digital health company connecting people to content, coaching, community, and clinicians to build lasting habits and live healthier lives. As part of the Communications team, you’ll shape how we tell our story—from media relations and brand storytelling to executive communications, thought leadership, and events.

About The Role

We’re seeking an Events Communications Manager to own Noom’s presence at events—from owned stages we build ourselves to industry conferences where our executives speak, sponsor, and lead. This hands-on role drives our signature events (Noom Talks, Art of Wellbeing Summit) from concept through post-event follow-up, while managing the pipeline of earned and sponsored opportunities that put Noom’s leaders in front of the right audiences. You’ll partner with Communications, Marketing, and leadership to ensure every event reflects Noom’s brand and mission.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end strategy, planning, and execution of Noom’s events, including evaluating opportunities, developing event plans, on-site execution, and post-event recaps
  • Lead Noom-owned events, managing budgets, vendors, logistics, staffing, production, and guest experience
  • Evaluate and manage Noom’s participation in industry events, recommending the right mix of speaking opportunities, sponsorships, booths, and brand activations based on audience, impact, and business goals
  • Partner with Noom executives and Communications leadership on speaking engagements, including event selection, briefing materials, talk tracks, presentations, and on-site support
  • Manage multiple events and workstreams simultaneously, keeping stakeholders aligned on budgets, timelines, responsibilities, and key decisions
  • Collaborate with Marketing and cross-functional teams, as well as external vendors and event organizers, to bring Noom’s event experiences to life

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in events, communications, PR, experiential marketing, or a related field, with hands-on ownership of live events from concept through execution
  • Demonstrated ability to build events from scratch and manage multiple events simultaneously, including budgets, vendors, logistics, production, and on-site execution
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to execute effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience partnering directly with senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong judgment when evaluating event opportunities, sponsorships, budgets, and tradeoffs; experience in healthcare, digital health, or a related industry is a plus
  • Willingness to travel for events and work occasional evenings or weekends as needed

What Makes This Job Amazing

  • Own a growing program: Events are becoming an increasingly important part of Noom’s Communications strategy, and you’ll help shape how we show up
  • Create highly visible experiences: You’ll own everything from recurring Noom Talks to major industry conferences and ambitious brand activations
  • Partner directly with leadership: You’ll work closely with Noom executives and subject-matter experts to bring our ideas and thought leadership to the right stages
  • Build from 0→1: You’ll have meaningful ownership over the processes, partnerships, and playbook behind Noom’s growing events program

Benefits

  • Competitive pay benchmarked to the market, shaped by your impact and value
  • 401(k) with company match to help build long-term financial security
  • Paid holidays, generous time off, Summer Fridays, and a company-wide Summer Break week
  • Top-tier medical plans for you and your family, including a premium-free option, alongside dental, vision, and life insurance
  • Paid parental leave to support growing families
  • Stock awards and a performance-based bonus
  • Exclusive access to Noom’s products
