Responsibilities
- Create Unforgettable Events
- Lead the planning and execution of events that strengthen our culture and community, including: Employee appreciation events, Career fairs and hiring events, Open Houses, Community outreach events, Annual Gala, Fall Festival, Spring Picnic, Clinic celebrations, Recruitment and networking events.
- Manage everything from planning and vendor coordination to logistics, budgets, and event-day execution.
- Tell the AB Spectrum Story
- Help shape how employees, families, and the community experience our brand by: Managing internal communications and company announcements, Developing employee newsletters and leadership communications, Maintaining a communications calendar, Supporting executive messaging and organizational initiatives, Ensuring a consistent brand voice across all communications.
- Bring Our Brand to Life Online
- Create content that showcases our people, culture, and mission. Responsibilities Include: Managing social media platforms, Building monthly content calendars, Creating engaging graphics using Canva, Coordinating photography and video, Sharing employee stories and clinic highlights, Supporting recruitment marketing initiatives.
- Celebrate Our People
- Help make AB Spectrum an incredible place to work by coordinating: Employee recognition programs, Appreciation initiatives, Team celebrations, Internal engagement campaigns, Recognition events.
- Strengthen Community Connections
- Represent AB Spectrum Through Partnerships With Schools, Universities, Community organizations, Local businesses, Event partners, Vendors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or event planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience creating social media content
- Proficiency with Canva and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, education, nonprofit, or human services
- Photography and/or videography experience
- Experience coordinating vendors and large events
- Familiarity with project management platforms such as Trello, Monday.com, or Asana
