About the role

The Events and Project Coordinator supports the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team (BG-RRT) and National Law Enforcement Ministry (NLEM) by coordinating various communication projects and events.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates print projects for a variety of printed items, posters, banners, credentials, etc., ensuring a reasonable timeline for design, approval, production, and delivery of all print materials and related documentation and approvals.
  • Coordinates various digital projects for BG-RRT events including Sharing Hope in Crisis seminars, Sharing Hope in Jesus' Name Conference, and Military Chaplain Retreat, ensuring timely delivery of all pieces.
  • Obtains project samples from the internal communication department.
  • Captures project samples from the internal communication department.
  • Serves as a liaison between the internal communications department, specifically with the Digital Content Coordinator and Designer, for all aspects of website creation, design, functionality, and online data collection for all BG-RRT and NLEM events.
  • Initiates requests through Jira Service Management system and coordinates with the Digital Project Manager for all necessary needs pertaining to the BG-RRT database application.
  • Serves as a liaison with the internal communication department, specifically the Digital Writer/Editor, to create practical and attractive email and e-newsletter communication.
  • Initiates email schedule plans with the internal communication department, specifically the Online Content team, for each monthly RRT prayer email and monthly e-newsletter.
  • Serves as a liaison with the internal communication department, specifically the Public Relations and Social Media team, for updating and posting to the BG-RRT and NLEM social media pages for upcoming trainings, deployments, and information about each ministry.
  • Coordinates with Ministry Operations Manager to coordinate domestic and international BG-RRT training events.
  • Coordinates with BG-RRT event speakers/presenters to arrange their travel.
  • Creates, submits, and obtains required approvals for import requests through the JIRA Service Management system.
  • Serves as a liaison with the internal communication department, specifically the Finance and Inventory Manager, to ensure that obsolete materials are discarded and, to the degree possible, old inventory is used before new inventory is ordered.
  • Works with Inventory Coordinator to ensure adequate event materials are delivered to each BG-RRT event.
  • Ensures data obtained from BG-RRT and NLEM events are shared with appropriate departments.

Requirements

  • Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
  • Faithfully upholds BGEA in prayer.
  • Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits.
  • Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations.
  • Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with relevant education OR 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with high-detail orientation.
  • Excellent computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Jira, and others).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with project development and coordination.
  • Able to prioritize work effectively to simultaneously fulfill numerous responsibilities, produce under pressure, and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work productively and independently with minimal direct supervision.
  • To relate professionally with staff at various organizational levels.

Schedule

Conventional office environment. Extended daily, weekly, and weekend hours are sometimes required. Travel to various RRT conferences and events is required.
