About the role
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce New England (SACC-NE) is a non-profit trade organization based in Boston. It connects businesses, professionals, and students between Sweden and New England, focusing on accelerating trade and fostering entrepreneurship.
Responsibilities
- Keep the website up to date
- Utilize social media tools for communication
- Create and develop newsletters
- Engage in graphic design
- Handle marketing collaterals, invitations, press releases, and other send-outs
- Support the SACC-NE network in fulfilling its mission
- Assist in the planning and execution of networking events
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university program or graduated within a relevant field of study
- Swedish citizenship or strong ties to Sweden (for U.S. visa purposes)
- Excellent verbal and written skills in both Swedish and English
- Ability to take initiative and work independently
- Knowledge of Graphic Design (Indesign, Photoshop, or similar) is a plus
- Preferably, previous experience in organizing events
- Software skills, including MS Office, Photoshop, and social media experience
Qualifications
- Strong background in event planning, marketing, and project management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of event concepts and themes
- Collaborate with internal departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth planning and execution of events
