Responsible for the setup and operation of basic/small-scale audiovisual systems in a hospitality environment while ensuring complete customer satisfaction. Reports to an Operations Manager, Operations Director, or Director of Event Technology.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures flawlessly executed events through accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of basic audiovisual equipment.
  • Strives to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers through effective communication and positive client relationships.
  • Meets with guests on-site to confirm their needs are met and equipment is functioning properly; monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day.
  • Understands and fosters the hotel/client relationship.
  • Demonstrates basic operational ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and software issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Follows company processes and procedures, completing systems entry and paperwork accurately.
  • Uses equipment sheets to determine scheduled setups and strikes; interacts with staff and outside vendors for equipment needs.
  • Increases revenue through floor up-selling techniques and works with clients to finalize invoices.
  • Completes order entries in Navigator as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Internal applicants must meet/complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program for their current and applied position. Review requirements.
  • External applicants must meet/validate and complete all required training and certifications within one year. View technical requirements.
  • 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
  • 1 year of audio-visual experience or equivalent in an educational environment preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license required for team members operating Company vehicles; additional DOT requirements may apply.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $23.23 - $23.24. Compensation is determined based on qualifications for the specified location. Final compensation considers factors such as location, travel, relevant work experience, and skills. Some positions may be eligible for overtime, bonuses, or incentives.
