Event Staff - College Sporting Events

Responsibilities

• Collect and/or scan tickets, verify wristbands and badges
• Welcome and usher guests, providing superior customer service
• Direct foot traffic in and out of the venue
• Ensure cleanliness, operational efficiency, and maintenance of designated areas
• Assist in event day preparation and execution
• Demonstrate understanding of venue policies, procedures, and regulations
• Greet guests with a friendly, sincere tone and thank them upon departure
• Provide helpful directions or suggestions to enhance the guest experience

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Successful completion of a background investigation and post‑offer/pre‑employment drug/alcohol test (driver’s record check may be required)
• Professional, articulate, able to use independent judgment and discretion
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Pay

Base rate: $18.50 per hour, paid weekly. Training rate: $17.13 per hour for orientation and fundamentals training.

Schedule

Part‑time flexible scheduling, under 30 hours per week.
