Event Services Technician - Audio Visual, Event Technology

Description

The Event Services Technician assists with floor operations, including setup, strike, and operation of technology solutions in a hotel or hospitality environment. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring all event sets and strikes are completed according to Company SOPs.
• Greeting guests/clients before events and providing clear instructions on equipment operation.
• Communicating with clients to ensure event success.
• Enhancing client events by identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Maintaining accurate client event information within the Company's business systems.
• Reviewing daily invoices with clients and obtaining their signatures.
• Complying with all Company security and safety measures, ensuring inventory is secure from theft and/or damage.
• Maintaining inventory in good working order and rental condition.
• Reporting any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment to management.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of Company occupied areas.
• Continually improving technical skills in audio, video/data, staging, and computer operation and networking.
• Complying with all Company policies and procedures.

Essential Functions

Education & Experience

A High School Graduate or equivalent degree.

Prior exposure to audio visual and/or hospitality industry.

Computer proficiency (hardware, software, and networking).

Skills & Knowledge

Physical Demands
