Event Server

About the role

Puff ‘n Stuff Catering is looking for enthusiastic and motivated servers to join our off-site Event Server team and “passionately perfect life’s celebrations.” As an Event Server, you will attend to guests’ needs and serve fine-dining-style catered events, helping to create memorable experiences through exceptional food and service.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests’ needs and serve fine-dining-style catered events
• Prepare guest and buffet tables by setting linens, décor, napkins, plates, and other elements
• Participate in event breakdown with the rest of the service team
• Practice safe food handling procedures at all times
• Arrive on-time, in uniform, with a positive attitude
• Work in all types of weather—events may be indoors or outdoors

Requirements

• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs to unload and reload necessary equipment
• Reliable transportation to and from events
• Fluent in spoken English and able to write basic English
• Comfortable working in a smoke-free environment
• 2 years of fine dining or catering service experience, preferably in a high-volume operation

Qualifications (Preferred)

• ServSafe certification
• Bartending certification
