Event Server

About the Role

Puff ‘n Stuff Catering is looking for enthusiastic and motivated servers to join our off-site Event Server team and “passionately perfect life’s celebrations.” As an Event Server, you will attend to guests' needs and serve fine dining-style catered events, helping to create memorable experiences.

Responsibilities

• Attend to guests' needs and serve fine dining-style catered events.
• Prepare guest and buffet tables by setting linens, décor, napkins, plates, etc.
• Participate in event breakdown with the rest of the service team.
• Practice safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Show up on-time, in uniform with a positive attitude.
• Be prepared to work in all types of weather—events can be indoors and outdoors.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Able to lift, move, and carry up to 50 lbs to unload and reload necessary equipment.
• Reliable transportation to and from events.
• Fluent in English with basic writing skills.
• Must be okay working in a smoke-free environment.
• 2 years of fine dining or catering service experience, preferably in a high-volume operation.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• ServSafe certification.
• Bartending certification.
