Event Server

About the role

We're looking for Event Servers who want more than another catering gig. We're building a team of dependable, energetic, hospitality-driven people who take pride in their work, support one another, and understand that the smallest details can make the biggest impression. Being an Event Server here isn't simply about carrying a tray, setting a table, or serving dinner. It's about hospitality. It's noticing what a guest needs before they have to ask. It's jumping in to help a teammate because you see they need it. It's taking pride in a beautifully set room. It's staying calm when an event gets busy. It's understanding that while this may be another Saturday night for us, it could be one of the most important nights of someone's life. We take that responsibility seriously.

What you'll do

As an Event Server, you'll work alongside our Event Managers, chefs, bartenders, and fellow servers to bring events to life throughout the Philadelphia area.

• Prepare and beautifully set event spaces
• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism
• Provide attentive food and beverage service
• Execute cocktail hours, plated dinners, buffets, stations, receptions, weddings, galas, and corporate events
• Anticipate guest needs and create genuine moments of hospitality
• Work closely with your Event Manager and teammates
• Help maintain clean, organized, polished event spaces
• Assist with breakdown and ensure we leave every venue with the same care we brought into it
• Step outside your assigned task when the team needs you

Pay & schedule

• Starting Rate: $20/hour
• Schedule: Event-based and flexible, including evenings and weekends
• Uniform: Professional all-black event attire, including black button-down shirt, black pants, black shoes, 12th Street Catering badge, and required apron

Because events are physical, team members must be comfortable standing for extended periods, moving throughout event spaces, carrying service items, and assisting with event setup and breakdown.

Previous restaurant, catering, banquet, or hospitality experience is helpful—but character, reliability, and hospitality matter just as much to us.
