Event Scheduling Specialist
About the role
This Event Scheduling Specialist role operates within event management and marketing for corporate events, product launches, brand activations, creative design, and experiential campaigns. The position focuses on event scheduling as a specialized function applied to event execution, ensuring confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions are visibly separated and managed.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate event scheduling with event logistics, ensuring each checkpoint leaves a visible source, owner, status, and next action within the context of event management and marketing.
- Review and maintain global events role documentation with status tracking, adhering to an event-focused, scheduling-focused, specialized-execution work profile.
- Document vendor coordination with deadline management, ensuring traceability and accountability for all scheduling tasks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting for event scheduling activities, ensuring clarity and readiness for downstream workflows.
- Reconcile quality control with workflow management, surfacing repeated errors before they result in downstream rework.
Decision Pattern & Quality Standards
Strong event scheduling execution means work remains usable under the specific demands of event management and marketing. Completed work must be traceable, unresolved items must have clear owners, and errors must be identified before causing rework.
- Use the Strive Global Events Workflow Context and Event Planning tools confidently to support event execution.
- Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines in the scheduling workflow.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions to maintain clear reasoning within the event context.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, especially when scheduling depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
The role-specific handoff test ensures event scheduling, data accuracy, and reporting signals are current; if not, the work remains open.
