Position Summary
GolfSuites is seeking a motivated and results-driven Event Sales Associate to support our Sales Manager in driving revenue and delivering exceptional event experiences. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building client relationships, and is motivated by closing deals.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct daily cold calls, outbound outreach, and lead follow-ups to generate new business
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate, social, and group event clients
- Actively pursue and close new event bookings to drive revenue growth
- Serve as a primary point of contact for booked clients
- Build and maintain relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Guide clients through event packages, pricing, and upsell opportunities
- Oversee events from booking → planning → execution → post-event follow-up
- Ensure all event details are accurate, communicated, and executed successfully
- Partner with operations and venue leadership to deliver a seamless guest experience
- Track all sales activity including leads, calls, bookings, and revenue
- Ensure contracts, payments, and event details are completed in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and overall efficiency
- Provide guidance and direction to a part-time Sales Associate
- Assist in delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads
- Support training and development to maintain strong sales standards
- Support the Sales Manager in achieving monthly and quarterly sales goals
- Upsell event enhancements, packages, and add-ons
- Contribute ideas for promotions and event offerings
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of outside sales experience required
- Friday-Sunday availability is required!
- Strong sales mindset with a passion for customer service
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable making cold calls and handling rejection
- Ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- Leadership or mentoring experience is a plus
Compensation
$20 an hour
Commission and performance-based incentives
