About the role
The Event Planning Manager at the Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center handles sales group bookings. This position works closely with the hotel’s Sales Managers in contract negotiations and servicing groups related to event services. Primary sales efforts include banquet food & beverage and involve menu planning, agenda setting, and hotel meeting services.
Responsibilities
- Handle sales group bookings and contract negotiations
- Facilitate communication before, during, and post-event with pertinent hotel staff and clients
- Host site inspections and maintain strong customer relationships
- Participate and lead event meetings, and other staff meetings
- Work as a team member with the entire hotel
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- 2-5 years of hotel planning experience

Pay
Salary range for this position is $61,100 - $80,000. Actual pay will be commensurate with experience.
