Event Photographer - Beauty, Fashion, Luxury

About the role

Our Beauty Client is seeking an experienced Event Photographer to capture high-quality images at a branded event in Las Vegas on Monday October 19th. This will be a full day of event coverage between 8am - 5pm. The ideal candidate balances creative vision with technical expertise, delivering polished photographs that reflect the events atmosphere and brand standards. This role requires strong client communication, fast turnaround on edited assets, and the ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

• Photograph live events including fashion shows, product launches, VIP parties, and beauty activations, producing a mix of candid, posed, and editorial imagery.
• Collaborate with clients, event planners, stylists, and PR teams to understand creative direction and brand guidelines before and during events.
• Plan and manage on-site lighting, camera setups, and backup equipment to ensure consistent, high-quality results in a variety of venues and lighting conditions.
• Shoot backstage, runway, portrait, detail, and ambiance images that highlight the luxury and fashion elements of the event.
• Deliver fully edited, color-graded, and retouched images within agreed timelines; prepare web and print-ready files as needed.
• Organize, catalog, and archive image assets securely; provide clear file naming and metadata for client use.
• Maintain professional conduct with high-profile guests and clients, protecting brand reputation and confidentiality.
• Offer input on shot lists and visual storytelling to enhance coverage planning and outcomes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an event, fashion, or luxury brand photographer with a strong portfolio demonstrating beauty, fashion, and event work.
• Advanced technical proficiency with professional DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, and lighting equipment; comfortable with tethered shooting.
• Expert-level editing and retouching skills in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop; ability to deliver polished, publication-ready images quickly.
• Excellent eye for composition, color, and detail, with experience shooting both candid and posed editorial styles.
• Strong communication and client-service skills; ability to collaborate with teams and take direction from brand stakeholders.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines; experience handling high-pressure, VIP environments.
• Drivers license and own professional gear; portfolio links or online gallery required.
