Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced freelance Photographer (ideally with basic Videography skills) in Denver, CO, to capture a dynamic, community-focused event. Photography is the primary focus of this engagement, with videography support dedicated to capturing B-roll and short-form content highlighting key moments, attendee engagement, and community impact initiatives. This is a short-term project with around 20 hours of total work. Event Date: October 13, 2026 Location: Denver, CO Duration: Approximately 6.5 hours of on-site event coverage (8:30 AM - 3:00 PM) Equipment: Must provide own photography and videography equipment; ideally have microphones available for any potential testimonials/interviews Editing: Professional photo editing and light video editing with a natural, true-to-life finish Delivery: Edited photo gallery and video assets delivered within approximately one week following the event (this can be flexible)Responsibilities Capture comprehensive event photography coverage throughout the day, including speakers, attendees, networking opportunities, and event activities Photograph a mix of candid interactions, environmental shots, and posed group photos as needed Record B-roll footage showcasing attendee engagement, community partnerships, presentations, and event highlights Capture key program elements, stakeholder interactions, and storytelling moments that reflect the event's mission and impact Be prepared to record brief testimonial or interview content if opportunities arise during the event Deliver a variety of wide, medium, and close-up shots suitable for social media, website content, event recaps, and internal communications Collaborate with the on-site event team to ensure priority moments and shot list requirements are coveredQualifications Proven experience photographing corporate events, conferences, community engagement programs, or similar live events Strong portfolio demonstrating both event photography and videography capabilities Experience capturing candid, documentary-style content that tells a compelling story Ability to independently manage event coverage while balancing photography and light video capture responsibilities Proficient in photo editing and basic video editing for highlight clips and social content Professional, reliable, and comfortable interacting with executives, stakeholders, attendees, and community partners Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced event environments and adapt to changing schedules Denver-based strongly preferred. Experience capturing testimonial/interview content and working with audio equipment is a plusIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including medical data.
