Event Operations & Scheduling Manager
About the Role
Hollywood Park is a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination centered around the 70,000-seat SoFi Stadium. As the largest urban mixed-use mega development under construction in the Western United States, Hollywood Park will include up to 2,500 residences, a hotel, 890,000 square feet of retail, 5 million square feet of office space, and over 25 acres of public parks. The venue hosts world-renowned events such as the Super Bowl, College Football Playoff National Championship, WrestleMania, World Cup 2026, and the 2028 Olympics.
The Event Operations and Scheduling Manager will oversee all internal/non-ticketed scheduling and calendar management for event operations and conversions within SoFi Stadium, the performance venue, and the site. This role coordinates scopes of work, estimates staffing and duration requirements, and ensures alignment across departments. The position supports administrative duties, quality control inspections, and labor cost projections while maintaining a 24/7 operational scope for 250+ annual events.

Responsibilities
- Manage and streamline communication around calendar management processes.
- Maintain the internal calendar of events, meetings, and filming with accurate status, locations, and conflict-free bookings.
- Train departments and partners on calendar functions and reservation processes.
- Book all event operations and conversion calendaring.
- Schedule part-time event operations staff to fulfill venue conversion scopes of work; assist with timecard coordination and reconciliation/billing.
- Integrate periodic maintenance tasks and space blackouts into the calendar for facility upkeep.
- Assist with labor and material cost projections for event operations and conversions.
- Support Event P&Ls, settlements, and reconciliation of final costs, revenue, and invoices for special and large events, including football.
- Manage Local 33 payroll, verifying hours and ensuring timely submission.
- Develop, prioritize, and audit task scopes to uphold delivery standards and labor efficiency.
- Oversee compliance with Hollywood Park and agency safety policies, including training and retraining for non-compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service across all venues and campus areas.
- Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years in public assembly facilities management with increasing responsibilities.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in event conversions or event management.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under time constraints, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and direct activities for up to 6 hours; lift up to 50 lbs regularly; and maneuver between simultaneous functions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to diverse audiences.
- Experience managing calendars, building scopes of work, projecting costs, and prioritizing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with Event Booking or Venue Ops calendar systems (e.g., ABI Employee Time and Attendance).
- Experience in event-related project management or software.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Facility Management, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field (minimum).
- Advanced degree or specialty certifications in related fields (preferred).

Environmental Conditions: Indoor (air-conditioned) and outdoor exposure to weather, high noise/vibration levels, and non-hazardous but dynamic environments.
Pay
Salary range: $70,304 – $81,203 annually. Compensation is determined based on education, certifications, and experience, with exceptions for candidates exceeding role expectations.
Schedule
24/7 operational scope, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Onsite in Inglewood, CA.
