Event Operations Manager

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team and head chef to deliver exceptional events that exceed guest expectations.
  • Plan event layouts, oversee venue setup, and ensure all event elements—tables, linens, centerpieces, and more—are perfectly arranged.
  • Cook up staffing needs, preparing work schedules for banquet servers and event staff.
  • Oversee the smooth execution of meals and beverages, ensuring seamless service from seating to table clearing.
  • Manage liquor and soft drink availability when required and maintain compliance with service regulations.
  • Act as a leader and mentor, coaching and training team members to ensure operational excellence.

  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including A/V, F&B outlets, culinary, engineering, and sales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust and rapport with guests and team members.
  • A proactive mindset with foresight to anticipate guest and event needs.
  • A comprehensive understanding of event planning processes from start to finish.
