Full leadership and supervisory role providing operational and service direction to a team. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to deliver value-added perspectives and advisory services. Contributes to developing new techniques, models, and plans within the area of expertise. Responsible for volume, quality, timeliness of results, and shared planning and budget accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day project logistics and event execution with internal clients, creating event marketing efficiencies for Citi across all business units.
  • Collaborates with business unit managers on event strategies and special projects, solution-oriented.
  • Generates ideas to expand client perceptions, drive results, and capture cost savings.
  • Manages all logistical details pertaining to event attendees and presenters.
  • Ensures program branding (marketing materials, signage, and displays) at all events meets Citi requirements and marketing/branding goals.
  • Develops and implements methods to evaluate overall event value to the business.
  • Maintains accurate budgets for meetings to generate ROI and manage metrics reporting details.
  • Supports all CEMP (Citi Expense Management) initiatives, event risk evaluations, reconciles program invoices, and reports final event costs.
  • Partners with colleagues and vendors on venue logistics, transportation, audio-visual equipment, and other execution details.
  • Reviews and negotiates contracts to secure the best possible rates.
  • Partners with Citi technology and audio-visual services to ensure appropriate equipment for all programs, including video conferencing, recording, and meeting-related equipment. Works with outside vendors for onsite support at non-Citi venues.
  • Initiates development of web registration sites with web developers; reviews content for accuracy; responds to attendee inquiries; provides reports to clients on updates.
  • Assesses risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, rules, and regulations, and adhering to Citi’s policies and ethical standards. Supervises team activities and holds individuals accountable.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in Event Marketing or Hospitality Industry.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills for projects with long and short lead times.
  • Excellent relationship management skills with a people-focused approach.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience. Spanish and Portuguese language skills are a plus.

Pay

$81,600.00 - $122,400.00 annual salary.

Full time. Primary location: Miami, Florida, United States.
