About the Opportunity
The Event Manager leads the planning and execution of the organization's global event marketing strategy. This role manages industry conferences, trade shows, customer events, executive roundtables, and field marketing initiatives while collaborating with marketing and sales teams to drive brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and maximize event return on investment (ROI).
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies for trade shows, conferences, field events, and executive roundtables.
- Manage event logistics, budgets, timelines, and overall event execution.
- Partner with Corporate Marketing, Partner Marketing, Demand Generation, and Sales teams to align events with business objectives.
- Integrate event campaigns with broader marketing initiatives to drive registrations, attendee engagement, and lead follow-up.
- Manage vendor selection, contract negotiations, agencies, and event partners.
- Track event performance metrics, analyze lead generation and pipeline impact, and present ROI reports to leadership.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and customer experience across all event channels.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B event marketing or field marketing.
- Experience within cybersecurity, SaaS, or technology industries preferred.
- Proven success driving pipeline growth and lead generation through events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo or HubSpot.
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% domestically and internationally.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
Annual salary: $72,900 – $166,500 USD. Compensation is based on experience, geographic location, certifications, and event management expertise.
