Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking a dynamic Event Manager to join our team in Bentonville, AR. - Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM), occasional evening and weekends as-needed

Responsibilities
Responsible for directing all aspects of promoting, planning, staffing, and executing Walton Family Whole Health & Fitness events, including internal and external functions, by leading collaboration with vendors/departments, managing budgets, and ensuring smooth execution to deliver successful and memorable experiences, while adhering to timelines and staying within financial constraints.
- Ensures world-class offerings, delivery, and experiences within all client events.
- Leads alignment of whole health concepts into all events and team-building activities within the WFWHF.
- Drives a culture of customer service to achieve high engagement and satisfaction rates for participants.
- Serves as the 24/7 contact for in-house teams or outside vendors/clients to manage all event activities and ensure success.
- Remains on-site as a supervisor to address client requests and resolve issues for overall satisfaction.
- Leads, inspires, and motivates cross-departmental teams (Recreation, Member Services, Rest and Recharge, Aquatics, and Fitness) for multiple, daily customized event deliveries.
- Manages event bookings (schedule, timing, payment, contracting, coordination/facilitation), operations, and programming in collaboration with WFWHF teams.
- Creates all marketing and promotional efforts within the client environment.
- Leads conversations with the client events team, assesses needs and expectations, designs tailored events, and identifies/resolves service gaps.
- Manages special event programming (e.g., Walmart games) including staff, vendors, and programs.
- Leads department or client/vendor liaisons on collaboration, implementation, and evaluation of events.
- Generates follow-up communications, engagement and revenue dashboards, and submits monthly summary reports including satisfaction, NPS, and general feedback.
- Serves as a resource for all departments in generating revenue to meet budgeted goals.
- Assists with membership sales to generate leads, provide discovery tours, and close sales to help the site reach dues revenue goals.
- Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Requirements
- 2+ years of related industry experience, including program management in a corporate setting or related environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Adult CPR/AED/First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or American Safety & Health Institute (required within first 30 days of hire).
- Strong leadership, team management, interpersonal, and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
- Computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated experience in program development and implementation, data collection and analysis, and outcomes reporting.
- Knowledge of industry trends and innovations.

- Basic understanding of event management software, word processors, and spreadsheets.

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $54,000 - $64,000 per year. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
