Event Child Care Worker

About the role

This position provides child care services for local events, typically from 7 am to 6 pm, with some flexibility in start and end times. Care is provided at a hotel or event center with other sitters, and includes games, activities, and food for the children.

Responsibilities

- Engage and entertain multiple children - Participate in clean-up activities - Occasionally engage in outdoor play, weather permitting - Lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, squatting, reaching, and pushing - React quickly and calmly to emergencies

Requirements

- At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 0-12+ - Reliable vehicle for transportation to shifts - CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification - Background check required - Live within 15-20 miles of the metro area
