Responsibilities

  • Lead event coordination with the HSM Customer Engagement team
  • Oversee and execute all aspects of events to ensure customers have a world-class experience
  • Create event overview presentations for Senior Leadership and communicate regular status updates with key internal stakeholders
  • Cook up and manage event budgets, handle all billing and invoicing related to events, and deliver each event within the allocated budget
  • Partner with the HSM Sales and Service team for key industry conferences to ensure HSM maintains a strong overall presence, and review and provide input on sponsorship agreements

  • Coordinate with the Senior Manager of HSM Brand Strategy to develop unique event branding and marketing materials for specific events
  • Coordinate with the Manager of HSM Communications on all pre- and post-event email communications

  • Provide materials and support for ancillary conference events, including breakout sessions and customer dinners
  • Document and track event details for future conferences

  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills to evaluate costs and benefits of potential actions and provide recommendations for optimal solutions
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills with strong executive presence to engage with top customers and Senior Leadership

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in event and/or conference management with 500 attendees
  • Experience with Corporate events preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
  • Experience working in the hospitality or travel industry preferred
  • Experience managing vendors and external agencies preferred
  • Ability to travel to venue
