Event/Activities Host

About the role

Responsibilities

• Runs events, plays music, and communicates events, activities, and special promotions within the activity and entertainment department, as well as food and beverage, retail, golf, recreation, and other areas.
• Manages and responds to guest needs and requests while playing the prescribed playlist of approved music.
• Creates a fun, energetic, and interactive atmosphere through scheduled events and activities.
• Enhances the Orange Lake Resort Guest experience with interactive entertainment.

Requirements

• Mic, event hosting, or performance experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of music and entertainment.
• Basic audio equipment a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Upbeat, outgoing, and energetic personality.
• Ability to tailor entertainment programs to specific audience needs.
• Interpersonal skills to entertain guests and respond to on-the-spot questions without pre-scripted responses.
