Evenings and Weekends Respite Caregiver

About the role

ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Caregivers to provide one-on-one support to our Recipients in their homes. You will assist with skill-building activities, encourage personal growth, and facilitate community integration to help Recipients achieve their goals. Positions are available on both a full-time and part-time basis, serving individuals in Southeast Michigan’s mental health community.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to Recipients in their homes
• Assist with skill-building activities
• Encourage and support personal goal development
• Facilitate community outings and integration

Requirements

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments
• Must pass required background checks and screenings
• Must be 18 years or older
