About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of developers and leading software development projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements and deliverables.
  • Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintain coding standards.
  • Conduct regular stand-ups and sprint planning meetings to ensure the team is aligned and meeting project goals.
  • Identify technical challenges and propose solutions to overcome them.
  • Ensure adherence to coding best practices and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring a team of developers.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
  • Experience with database design and optimization.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.

Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Experience with back-end technologies like Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
  • Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Selenium.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
