About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Evening Shift Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Aventura at the Bay in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and guidance to the evening shift nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to provide high-quality care to our residents
- Conduct regular rounds to ensure that nursing care is being delivered in accordance with our policies and procedures
- Identify and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the evening shift
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including medication administration records and incident reports
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve the delivery of care
Requirements
- Current Florida RN or LPN unrestricted license
- Minimum 1 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Careful and compassionate approach to patient care
