What You'll Do
- Supervise and support nursing staff during your shift.
- Ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
- Assess residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, facility policies, and nursing standards.
- Complete clinical documentation accurately and timely.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, incident follow-up, and resident care planning.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience is a plus.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while fostering teamwork and accountability.
