Key Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure safety and security
- Maintain surveillance cameras and access control systems
- Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies
- Enforce site rules and regulations
- Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities
- Conduct security checks on doors, windows, gates, and equipment
- Provide customer service to staff and visitors
- Work closely with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other departments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing and email
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations with professionalism
