Evening Housekeeper

About the role

Loyalhanna Care Center is seeking a full‑time evening Housekeeper / Laundry Aide with floor‑care experience to help keep residents’ rooms, common areas, and workspaces clean and welcoming. The role combines light laundry, housekeeping, and ample opportunity to use floor‑care skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep resident rooms, common areas, and workspaces clean and welcoming.
• Wash, dry, fold, and deliver clothing and linens with care.
• Operate floor care equipment and perform cleaning, buffing, and other floor maintenance as needed.
• Follow cleaning and infection‑prevention procedures, use equipment safely, and keep supplies ready for the next shift.
• Share a friendly hello with residents and staff while performing duties.

Requirements

• Hands‑on floor‑care experience and comfort operating floor‑care equipment.
• Willingness to assist with housekeeping and laundry tasks.
• Attention to detail, pride in work, and the ability to notice small imperfections.
• Respect for residents’ belongings and a friendly, helpful attitude.
