About the role
Community Concierge Services (CCS) is hiring District Porters in the Charlotte, NC area to collect doorstep trash and recycling from apartment communities. This is a part-time evening job perfect for anyone looking for supplemental income, a second job, or side work with a flexible night schedule.
Responsibilities
- Drive a company-provided pickup truck to assigned apartment communities
- Collect bagged trash and recycling from residents' doorsteps
- Transport waste to the onsite compactor or dumpster
- Keep compactor and trash chute areas broom-swept and clean
- Replace dog station bags and common area waste bags
- Provide friendly, professional service to residents
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with 5+ years of clean driving history (required for company truck eligibility)
- Smartphone with active data plan for route management
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional
- Active bank account for direct deposit
- Must be 18+
Qualifications
No experience required. Company truck provided. Paid training.

Schedule
Sunday–Thursday: 7:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Sundays start at 6pm)
Friday & Saturday: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM (weekend shifts not currently required in this market; every-other-weekend availability needed if added)
Shift length: 5–7 hours per night
Work Location
On the road - Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas including parts of Triad, SC, etc. must be comfortable driving a 3 hour radius.
