Evening floating trash collector

Community Concierge Services (CCS) is hiring District Porters in the Savannah, GA area to collect doorstep trash and recycling from apartment communities.

About the role

This is a part-time evening job perfect for anyone looking for supplemental income, a second job, or side work with a flexible night schedule. No experience is required. A company truck is provided, along with paid training.

Pay

$150 per day (flat rate per shift). Direct deposit on the 5th and 20th of each month. Average 20–35 hours per week, with up to 5 shifts available. Top performers earn additional shifts and promotions.

Schedule

• Sunday–Thursday: 7:00 PM – 2:00 AM (Sundays start at 6 PM)
• Friday & Saturday: 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM (weekend shifts not currently required in this market; every-other-weekend availability needed if added)
• Shift length: 5–7 hours per night

Responsibilities

• Drive a company-provided pickup truck to assigned apartment communities
• Collect bagged trash and recycling from residents' doorsteps
• Transport waste to the onsite compactor or dumpster
• Keep compactor and trash chute areas broom-swept and clean
• Replace dog station bags and common area waste bags
• Provide friendly, professional service to residents

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with 5+ years of clean driving history (required for company truck eligibility)
• Smartphone with active data plan for route management
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and professional
• Active bank account for direct deposit
• Must be 18+
