Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the school and its site.
- Cleans classrooms, offices, hallways, entryways, restrooms, and other common areas of the school on a regular basis and after events.
- Dusts, cleans, sanitizes surfaces within the school including, but not limited to: windows, ledges, desks, tables, countertops.
- Performs specialized cleaning at certain times of the year including, but not limited to: stripping and waxing floors.
- Complies with health and safety codes, including OSHA standards.
- Sets up furniture and equipment (tables, chairs, bleachers, risers, etc.) for community use and school events.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to climb an 8‑foot step ladder and/or up to a height 12‑feet.
Schedule
Hours per day: 8; Hours per week: 40; Start date: ASAP; Days: Monday‑Friday; Schedule: 1:30 PM – 9:00 PM (10:00 PM on game nights with occasional weekend and overtime work).
Pay
Starting pay range: $15.55/hour – $20.10/hour (depending on qualifications).
