Evening Culinary Operations Supervisor

The Role at a glance

The Evening Culinary Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading the evening meal service for trustee dining in a correctional facility. You will oversee meal preparation, cooking, and portioning, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and customer service.

What you'll be doing

• Provide hands-on supervision and oversight for meal preparation, cooking, and portioning.
• Ensure all meals meet quality standards.
• Lead evening meal service for trustee dining.
• Prepare and serve fresh, made-to-order meals.
• Deliver exceptional customer service in a professional and respectful manner.
• Ensure proper food portioning and presentation.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Complete daily prep, pull, and production tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment.
• Work closely with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
• Absorb inventory, stock, and assist with end-of-shift cleanup.

What we're looking for

• Experience supervising multiple employees.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and service knowledge.

Compensation Range

Up to $23/hr

Schedule

Monday through Friday
Evening Shift
Weekends off
