Evening Clinical Investigation Tech Sleep Research PER DIEM
About the role
Investigator and following established policies and procedures, provides support to research studies being carried out in the Division of Sleep and Circadian Disorders. Initiates and maintains contact with study participants. Interacts with patients/subjects with regard to study. Coordinates in-lab visits. Supports and executes measurements of study parameters on human subjects while using specific equipment and assays during the in-laboratory, outpatient, or field portions of research protocols. Prepares and maintains regulatory documentation for group. This includes IRB applications, amendments, and continuing reviews, study standards of practice.
Responsibilities
- Instructs subjects on the use of study devices and materials
- Obtains informed consent for screening and for specific studies
- Collections, organizes, and analyzes research data generated by the study
- Prepares and updates regulatory documentation for studies
- Creates REDCap surveys, questionnaires, and databases
- Trains and schedules students
- Uses and trouble-shoots specialized data collection devices during laboratory or outpatient studies, which will be primarily evening shifts but may include combinations of day/evening/night/weekend/holiday shifts
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field required
- Experience: Research-related experience 0-1 year preferred

$21.00 - $29.10/Hourly Grade 5
