Evening Cleaner

Duties/Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned area.
• Floors - vacuums, mops, and scrubs.
• Bathrooms - clean and scrub daily.
• Clean walls and boards as needed.
• Clean desks and furniture.
• Clean windows and exterior of building as needed.
• Empty garbage.
• Assists parents and other visitors to school buildings with special events and programs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Effective interpersonal skills to communicate with school personnel, students, parents and members of the community.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.

Physical Job Requirements

• Continuous use of hands and fingers to handle or feel, talk, and hear.
• Frequent sitting, stooping, kneeling, and/or crouching.
• Reach with hands and arms in the performance of the job.
• Erectile force occasionally.
• A negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $18.23 to $21.84 depending on experience. Extra compensation for education and certification pay available.
