Join our early childhood education team at Saint Luke’s Hospital on the Plaza as an Evening Childcare Teacher. This role involves floating to all classrooms, shaping the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of children through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
About the Role
As a Childcare Teacher, you’ll lead activities that foster curiosity and support early learning, grounded in best practices like Project Construct and Creative Curriculum. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative setting and is passionate about early childhood education.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care in a safe, nurturing environment
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, developmentally sound lesson plans
- Support kindergarten readiness through engaging curriculum
- Create a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom
- Foster open communication and strong relationships with families
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, professional workplace
- Maintain flexibility and a commitment to continuous improvement
- Attend all required in-service trainings
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certification
Requirements
- 1 year of applicable experience
- Associate Degree
Schedule
Full Time Evening position: 11:30am–8:00pm, Monday–Friday
