Job Description
The Packer is responsible for packaging plastic containers for various industries including pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and industrial sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
- Awareness of the order of production and packaging method based on customer requirements.
- Conducting a visual quality check of the containers produced before packaging them.
- Raising any quality issues with supervisors during production.
- Packaging containers according to the established method.
- Preparing boxes and other packaging materials as required.
- Maintaining a clean workstation at all times.
- Complying with all quality control procedures and other corporate policies.
- Performing any other task requested by the Head of Production.
Qualifications
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
- Completion of a production/packaging associate program within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to comply with physical demands such as standing, walking, using hands for manipulation, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds (≈ 23 kg).
- Exposure to a noisy production environment with varying temperatures inside the factory.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in the production department and designated areas.
