Job Description

The Packer is responsible for packaging plastic containers for various industries including pharmaceutical, cosmetic, food, and industrial sectors. Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Awareness of the order of production and packaging method based on customer requirements.
• Conducting a visual quality check of the containers produced before packaging them.
• Raising any quality issues with supervisors during production.
• Packaging containers according to the established method.
• Preparing boxes and other packaging materials as required.
• Maintaining a clean workstation at all times.
• Complying with all quality control procedures and other corporate policies.
• Performing any other task requested by the Head of Production.

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
• Completion of a production/packaging associate program within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to comply with physical demands such as standing, walking, using hands for manipulation, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds (≈ 23 kg).
• Exposure to a noisy production environment with varying temperatures inside the factory.
• Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) in the production department and designated areas.
