ETL Developer / Data Engineer

Ready to make a difference? We’re looking for an ETL / SSIS Developer who enjoys collaborating with coworkers and wants to help automate data delivery to various systems and their users. You'll support a team delivering data solutions across a diverse portfolio of utility and energy clients. You'll have opportunities to work on a variety of projects while continuing to build your technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Support a team delivering data solutions across a diverse portfolio of utility and energy clients.
• Collaborate with the team to help build and support data integration solutions.
• Develop solutions, monitor their executions for anomalies, and troubleshoot problems that might arise from bad data.
• Travel to our Reston HQ approximately 2 - 3 days a week initially, then approximately 1 time per week after initial ramp up.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field
• 2+ years experience working with SQL (e.g., query tuning, writing procedures/functions, building views)
• 1+ year(s) experience developing/optimizing SSIS packages with design to maximize flexibility and standardization

Qualifications

• Experience with working with SSIS parameterized packages in a project solution using standard SDLC
• Critical thinking skills / questioning why the requirements are what they are
• Exposure to the utility, energy, and/or energy efficiency sectors
