ETL Data Engineer

Job Description

The selected candidate will help the team craft data solutions to meet business and enterprise requirements. This role involves using SQL, Python, and ETL tools to enhance and support a Data Warehouse.

• Utilize SQL, Python, and ETL tools to build and maintain data solutions.
• Enhance and provide support for a Data Warehouse environment.
• Work with relational databases, specifically Oracle Exadata.
• Apply knowledge of Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Data Modeling, and Business Intelligence concepts.
• Employ Informatica and Autosys or other orchestration tools in data processes.
• Design and build data warehouses and understand the associated data flows.
• Operate within an agile framework and adhere to development methodologies.

Technical Skills

• Strong SQL skills and experience with good coding practices.
• Practical working experience with relational databases, preferably Oracle Exadata.
• Familiarity with Data Warehouse, Data Mart, Data Modeling, and Business Intelligence concepts.
• Familiarity with Informatica.
• Familiarity with Autosys or other Orchestration Tools.
• Exposure to or self-education in Unix scripting.
• Exposure to or self-education with Python, including libraries like Pandas and Data Frames, for data processing.
• Exposure to CI/CD processes and tools such as Ansible or Jenkins.
• Experience with Airflow.
• Experience with development methodologies and working in an agile framework.

About the Role

An opportunity is available for an ETL Focused Data Engineer.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience is required.

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

The role is full-time and onsite in Charlotte, North Carolina.
