Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines.
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems into enterprise data warehouses or data lakes.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all data integration processes.
- Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot failures, and resolve performance issues.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and BI developers to understand data requirements.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and quality assurance processes.
- Optimize ETL processes for scalability and performance.
- Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes, mappings, and workflows.
- Support production deployments and participate in on-call support when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development (or as required).
- Strong SQL development skills.
- Experience with one or more ETL tools, such as: Informatica PowerCenter or IDMCMicrosoft SSISTalendIBM DataStagePentahoAzure Data Factory (ADF)AWS Glue.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DB2.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star and snowflake schemas.
- Experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data integration best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
