About the role

Etihad Airport Services Ground (EASG) is responsible for ground-handling operations at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Its services cover passenger check-in and boarding, baggage handling, cargo operations, aircraft services, and other airport ground functions.

Responsibilities

• Manage cargo operations, ensuring timely and efficient handling of shipments.
• Coordinate with airlines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth cargo movements.
• Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and security protocols.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to cargo services.
• Monitor and maintain cargo handling equipment and facilities.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize airport operations.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cargo operations and/or cargo customer service.
• Good knowledge of computer systems and airfreight specifications.
• Understanding of cargo handling processes and operational requirements.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of aviation cargo security requirements.
• Training or certification in areas such as Dangerous Goods (DG), AVI, Cargo Operations, Security, and Customer Service is advantageous.

Qualifications

• A high school education.
• A diploma or qualification in Logistics, Operations Management, Cargo Operations, or a related field is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good customer-service abilities.
