Ethics and Compliance Specialist (Investigations and Audit)

Key Responsibilities

  • Review incoming ethics hotline complaints and develop actionable investigation plans
  • Conduct objective, confidential investigations partnering with subject matter experts (EHS, HR, Legal, Trade Compliance, Quality, Operations) into allegations of fraud, conflicts of interest, bribery, and ethical breaches
  • Perform internal audits relative to the company’s compliance with its own policies and procedures
  • Collect, document, and analyze evidence, and conduct witness and subject interviews
  • Partner with Human Resources, Legal, Internal Audit, and outside counsel when handling highly sensitive issues
  • Analyze investigation data to identify trends, mitigate compliance risks, and recommend policy changes
  • Plan and perform operational and internal audits to verify accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external laws
  • Draft comprehensive investigation and audit reports, outlining findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for senior management
  • Provide training and awareness initiatives to uphold the company’s ethical culture and compliance standards

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in internal auditing, corporate investigations, or human resources compliance

Skills

  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and advanced interviewing skills
  • Must exhibit high levels of emotional intelligence and objective judgment
