ETCH Equipment Maintenance Technician

About the role

Renesas Electronics is looking for an experienced technician to fill the role of Etch Maintenance Technician supporting its manufacturing facility in Palm Bay, Florida. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with excellent written and communication skills. This position offers development opportunities working for a leader in the design and manufacture of high‑performance analog semiconductors. The role is 100% onsite in Palm Bay, FL.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on etch area tool sets.
• Maintain additional tool sets including Axcelis Fusion, Semitool SST, Semitool SRD, and manual wet benches.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis; Renesas cannot sponsor work visas for this position.

Qualifications

• Education: AS or AA in electrical, mechanical, military training, or 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years supporting AMAT Centura 5200 MxP, AMAT 8330/8110, AMAT P5000 MxP, Gasonics Aura 1000, Gasonics Iridia, STS HRM Bosch Trench Etcher.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a semiconductor‑manufacturing environment with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Equipment Maintenance Field.

Schedule

Compressed work week: 3 days on 7 am–7 pm one week, followed by 4 days the next week. Both day and night shifts are available.
