ESY Middle/High School Paraeducator

About the role

The ESY Middle/High School Paraeducator supports students in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provides assistance with various developmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of IEP goals and objectives related to educational, social-emotional, and behavioral development.
• Assist with the physical and minimal health needs of students, including tasks such as lifting, feeding, toileting, and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• For Title 1 Schools, must have Highly Qualified Status, which includes an Associate's Degree or equivalent two years of college, Bachelor degree, or Paraeducator II certification from the NH Dept of Education.

Pay

$18.94 per hour - DW Paraeducator Internal Paraeducators will be paid their current step at the DW rate.
