About the role

The ESY Elementary Paraeducator supports students in the Nashua High School North Extended Year Program.

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives related to educational needs, social-emotional, and behavioral development.
• Fosters independence in students through support with fine and gross motor skills.
• Assists with the physical and minimal health needs of students, including tasks such as lifting, feeding, toileting/diapering, and personal hygiene.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Title 1 Schools require Highly Qualified Status, which includes either an Associate's Degree or two years of college, a Bachelor degree, or Paraeducator II certification from the NH Dept of Education.

Pay

$18.94 per hour at the District Wide rate.
