Elementary Paraeducator
Manson Northwest Webster is seeking a paraeducator to join our team at the Elementary School.
About the role
The Elementary School serves preschool through 6th grade students and is located in Barnum within the Manson Northwest Webster Community School District (MNW), which covers parts of Calhoun, Webster, and Pocahontas counties. MNW focuses on providing a positive and supportive educational experience for each of its 725 students as they become life-long learners and grow to achieve their future educational and career goals. As a school district, MNW has small class sizes, supportive administrators and communities, and the opportunity to work with other dedicated educators.
Responsibilities
- Support classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities
- Assist with student behavior management and classroom discipline
- Provide individualized attention to students as needed
- Help maintain a safe and orderly learning environment
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to support student success
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow directions and work independently
