About the role

Centerline Communications (in direct partnership with Maicom), LLC works with major wireless operators and equipment manufacturers in the U.S. and is a leader in the industry ecosystem. It is a full-service operation, specializing in the development, construction, and maintenance of wireless telecommunications networks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed civil cost estimates for Wireless/Wireline/EV charging projects (including Level 2 and DCFC installations)
• Develop pricing for multi-state projects, accounting for regional labor rates, material costs, and site conditions
• Evaluate civil scopes such as: Excavation, trenching, and backfill Concrete pads, piers, and flatwork Asphalt removal and restoration Demolition and site prep Underground utility coordination Specialty project systems that may occur (culvert, water, fencing, other)
• Track and adjust estimates based on regional market conditions (labor availability, seasonal impacts, subcontractor pricing)
• Cook up with internal engineering, project management, and procurement teams during bid development
• Support subcontractor vetting and benchmarking where needed

Requirements

• Proven experience estimating civil construction work for commercial or infrastructure projects
• Ability to price work across multiple states and labor markets
• Familiarity with site-based construction for utilities, renewables, EV, wireline, wireless, or transportation projects
• Strong understanding of regional cost drivers for concrete, asphalt, demolition, and earthwork
• Proficiency with estimating tools and Excel-based takeoffs
• Experience with Wireline, Wireless, EV charging infrastructure, utility-related civil work, or renewable energy projects
• Knowledge of varying state and regional labor practices and cost environments

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction estimating
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Proficient in estimating software and Excel-based takeoffs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Benefits

Base pay range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000. However, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience (in addition to medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered).
