Estimator (Utility)
What You’ll Do
- Review project plans, requirements, and specifications
- Understand project logistics and project schedule
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and material pricing
- Understand national, state, and city construction codes of the trade and location of work
- Develop and execute strategy to win work
- Manage assignments of estimating resources
- Manage bid/proposal schedule
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or other related construction/Union trade background
- 5+ years’ experience in estimating
- Experience with underground electrical distribution systems and substations preferred
- Bluebeam and Excel experience is preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Highly detailed and task oriented
- Able to prioritize and manage time
- Excellent communication
- Ability to work cross functionally with all leaders and divisions throughout Aldridge
- Willing to travel to our Chicago, IL Headquarters for training/bid reviews and closeouts

Aldridge is seeking an Estimator with underground electrical distribution systems experience to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role will work collaboratively with the estimating team to coordinate plan procurement, bid preparation and bid review with our estimating administrators.

What We Offer
- The annual base pay for this role is between $80,000 - $140,000.
- The actual pay is dependent upon many factors, including: location, work experience, education, training, transferable skills, business needs, and market conditions.
- The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
- The role may also be eligible for a bonus.
